My 10 year journey in fixing my texting and dating life
This is me 10 years ago. Clueless with women and clueless with texting.
When I was lucky enough to get a girls phone number I'd fire off that first text and...NOTHING. No reply. Silence. I was crushed.
The problem was there seemed to be a right way to text a girl but I certainly didn't know what it was. I'd wreck all my texting conversations and get ghosted. Internet searches to fix this provided contradicting advice. I'd hit this impenetrable barrier.
In 2013 I completed my Approaching Bootcamp and really started to learn about women, texting and dating. Over the following years I became more confident at trying different things over text and through A LOT of trial and error, built my Texting Ladder structure. A step by step process that naturally led from the initial opener text to the date request worked EVERY SINGLE TIME. The amount of replies I was getting and more importantly, dates I was getting skyrocketed.
Soon after I didn't think twice about my texting and just went on autopilot with following the Texting Ladder and using my favourite texts over and over that I could copy and paste for all the women I was texting. When I started sharing the Texting Ladder with my close friends and saw they were getting the same results I knew I'd found something worthwhile sharing with the rest of the world.
Getting a girls phone number is a great achievement. Don't throw it away with a bad message.
